CASA SERENA

Casa Serena is located just 5 km from Puerto Escondido Airport on a long, quiet beach, offering an ideal setting for families, friends, and travelers from all walks of life. The house provides a cozy and upscale atmosphere, with spaces designed for the comfort of each guest.

The party pavilion is the heart of the house, with seating for 10 in the dining room, plus a bar and living room under a large palapa. The kitchen is fully equipped with restaurant-quality appliances, including a GE Monogram oven and an island with seating for six.

The five bedrooms feature air conditioning, ceiling fans, coffee makers, double sinks, convenient closets, and en-suite bathrooms. Four bedrooms are equipped with king-size beds, while the children’s room features two twin beds. Each evening, the staff prepares a coffee pot in each room and provides a pitcher of filtered, chilled water.

Casa Serena offers chef service for 8 hours a day. Guests may purchase their own groceries or ask the staff to do so at no additional cost, providing receipts for each purchase.

Tipping PolicyThe staff works hard to provide an exceptional experience. A tip of $100 MXN per adult per day is recommended and will be given directly to the staff at the end of the stay.

Swimming and Surfing PoliciesThe ocean in front of Casa Serena has strong waves. Caution is advised and swimming should only be done if you have experience in the Pacific. For surfers, the best waves are found at Playa Zicatela, although surfing and boogie boarding lessons can be arranged at Carrizalillo or Zicatela.

TransportationThere are direct flights from Mexico City to Puerto Escondido airport, located just 5 minutes from the house. You can also fly to Huatulco, 1 hour and 45 minutes away by car. Private transportation can be arranged from the airport to the house.
