Breezes flow from one end to the other of this airy residence at the brand-new El Careyes Club. Though it was just built, it’s designed to reflect the area’s ’70s-maximalist heritage, with plenty of natural textures, sculptural shapes, and a choice of 5 infinity pools. Start with breakfast in the open-air on-site restaurant, La Duna, and follow the day to the beach club.

Step across the boardwalk and the sand to a lounger right on the beach, or take a spot at one of the club’s west-facing infinity pools. Cap off sunset with a drink at the restaurant, which provides towels if you arrive directly from the pool. If you’d like to dine in private, the villa has its own alfresco table for 6.

Just off the outdoor dining area is the villa’s open-concept great room, with a low-slung seating area, dining table for 6, and fully equipped galley kitchen, all in shades of white and local rosa morada wood. The 2 bedrooms are tucked behind the great room for a layout that lets the breezes and the sunlight go right through.

The villa is steps from La Duna, which serves breakfast and a killer guacamole for lunch, and a short drive from other local institutions like Playa Rosa Beach Club, where cocktails on the sand might just go all night, and Casa de Nada, which shows off the area’s Mediterranean influence in its menu and dressed-up ambience.
