Newly remodelled vacation villa with breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and haute cuisine Mexican meals. A full staff of two personal chefs, two housekeepers, and two poolside waiters are included, along with access to a private beach club.
The property can accommodate a large group. We recommend 14 guests for comfort, but the house can accommodate up to 20 people (you’ll have to share beds). After 14 guests, a fee is charged per person.
Special rates can be considered for long-term stays, as well as for 2+ periods stays.
The main features that Obelisk has to offer are:
– A spectacular panoramic view of Acapulco Bay

– 8 Air conditioned rooms
Casa Obelisk is located in Las Brisas, the most exclusive residential compound in Acapulco.
Also included in the rental is access to Club Las Brisas, one of Acapulco’s most exclusive beach clubs. Here you can access tennis courts, a full gym, paddle tennis, restaurants, and more.
There is also a private and pristine beachfront called “La Playita Ecologica” which can be accessed every day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the house/Acapulco safe?
Obelisk is located within Fraccionamiento Las Brisas, a highly guarded private residential area. In the 20+ years our family has owned Obelisk, we’ve never ever had any security issues, so it’s safe to say you can sleep with no worries.
Acapulco is a city of contrasts, and general intuition guidelines apply. Just like everywhere in the world, avoid being in shady neighbourhoods, especially late at night. But no need to worry, the house staff can guide you where not to go. Granted, there’s plenty more safe and enjoyable places than you can imagine.
How far from the beach?
We believe Obelisk offers THE BEST in Acapulco. It’s exactly a mid-point between the old Acapulco Bay and the new Acapulco. It’s a 10 min drive to the beach on either side (old or new). Furthermore, it has the panoramic view to classic Acapulco, the one you saw in Elvis movies.
How do I get in/out of the house?
No need to rent a car if you will not be moving much, taxi cabs can be called from the house. If you will be exploring a lot, then driving to Acapulco (4hr drive from Mexico City) or renting a car will be a good idea. Public transport is not recommended from/to Obelisk.
How many rooms/beds are there?
There are 6 guest rooms, and 1 staff room. The staff room can also accommodate children. In total, there are 14 beds. You can see the distribution below:
– Room 1 (1 King + 1 single) – 2 people (and up to 3)
– Room 2 (2 Full Size) – 2 people (and up to 4)
– Room 3 (2 Full Size) – 2 people (and up to 4)
– Room 4 (2 Full Size) – 2 people (and up to 4)
– Room 5 (2 Queen Size) – 2 people (and up to 4)
– Room 6 (2 Full Size) – 2 people (and up to 4)
This next room is small. It can accommodate children or is often used for staff that is coming with your group.
– Room 7 (2 Full Size) – 2 people (and up to 4)
3 Important Disclaimers:
– The pool has a heater. Gas to heat the pool is NOT included in the rent fee. If you wish to have the pool heated the gas must be purchased in Acapulco, this can be coordinated with Mr. Daniel at the house. It’s about $100 USD for the pool to stay warm about 3 days.
– Although not new, Obelisk has been remodelled several times.
